Yippeee! It's official... i have studio space at a local art center. I've finished one simple painting and have started another.

Hidden Mercy

This piece is 12"x12" paint on wood, and is the first time I've done quite like this. Ironically, it was painted earlier this week and fit the "I Spy" subject too perfectly NOT to post.

The subject of the painting has a favorite word: mercy, which is slightly diguised in the painting. The subject of the painting loves to embellish jeans with paint splatters, stencils, patches and such. I added many of those elements into this piece.

It is my first submission to Illustration Friday.
